cjmarloweI love the Olympics! Since Mum's been visiting, we've been watching a lot of Olympic curling when we're home, both men's and women's. We picked up the men's Canada-Switzerland match in the fifth end and watched Gushue absolutely claw his way back after letting Switzerland steal 3 in the third. Four steals in a row! And sitting one up in the tenth with the hammer must be a really, really good feeling. You've got to really fuck up to lose that one.
Speaking of Mum, she just called and left a message to tell me that she and my aunt are sitting up top the CN Tower eating a wonderful dinner while looking down on the building I'm currently working in. Wasn't that nice of her? *snort*
And me having forgotten my lunch, too.
