(no subject)

Apparently for the next week this journal is going to be a rundown of the packing process. I'm going through a lot of things that haven't been gone through in a long time, they've just gone from box to box and shelf to shelf every place that i've moved in the past 13 years or so. Tonight I tackled a bunch more papers, everything from sheet music to magazines to stories I wrote in junior high. I put a bunch of old usenet stories I'd printed out in the shredding tub (now full to overflowing) and kept a bunch of printed-out feedback from stories I posted back in 95 (and rediscovered that I really was a terrible, terrible writer).

I also found a double page spread from a local Neepawa newspaper I kept, a photoessay of my dad's work that they ran after he died. And then a bunch of old photographs and a folder stuffed full of letters I received when I was an exchange student in the Philippines. So it was a good night, and I got a lot done, but it's been a bit of a rough night too.

And jesus, it's almost 6am, I need to go to bed. I'm probably going to sleep like the dead till at least 2.
