I swear, I don't actually set out to have exactly four Yuletide recs at the end of every day, that's just how it's shaken out this week. Still sleeping a lot. Refusing to feel bad about it. Today was alternating reading, writing, sleeping, and eating, and really, other than the vicious cold thing, isn't that what vacations should be about?

4 recs in Fame (1980 movie), The Good Wife / The Good Wife RPF, Shakespeare - Romeo and Juliet, and Monty Python RPF:

Being What We Can [ Fame ]
It's been many, many years since I've watched this so I probably missed some character nuances, but even so I thought it was a fantastic and so well-done afterwards for everyone.

The Writer's Room [ The Good Wife / The Good Wife RPF ]
This is a blend of FPF and RPF in a really interesting way, that works so well for me that I don't even mind it includes a trope I usually run screaming from. That's how much I enjoy it.

Perhaps. Perhaps. Perhaps. [ Shakespeare - Romeo and Juliet ]
This is exactly the sort of riffing on Shakespeare that I love. Love. And the crossovers, if they can even be called that, in context, are perfect.

Get It Out in the Open (I Know I Have) [ Monty Python RPF ]
Combining cleverness and Monty Python and coming out? This is like CJ catnip.
