cjmarloweFewer recs this time, because we ended up having company for a while that I couldn't just ignore. And also because I've been sick this week and have spent a ridiculous amount of time sleeping, meaning I have vast swaths of the Yuletide archive still to get through. Somehow I have to leave the house today to get a stone chip in my windshield fixed. I do not yet know how that is going to happen.
Merits of the Chase [Queer as Folk (UK), Stuart/Vince]
Stuart and Vince (and everyone!) were dead on, and I love this story for bringing me right back to the show.
Sam Crow is not a man [Sons of Anarchy]
Trippy and poignant and a little bit heartbreaking. The kind of story I didn't have any idea I wanted until I read it.
seven wonders of the scientific world [Luther]
This is such a brilliant look inside Alice's mind, and a compelling portrait of how she grew into who she is.
The Wolves in Waiting [Grimm, Nick Burckhardt/Eddie Monroe]
Even though it's not been particularly strong so far, I have this feeling like Grimm might be the fandom waiting in the wings for me. So I was delighted to see some really good Nick/Eddie this Yuletide (and good Eddie in general, frankly). The whole structure and pace of this story is wonderful.
