So I've sort of mentioned this obliquely before, and I'm now legally bound not to talk about the particulars, but after months of back and forth we finally went into arbitration over my union grievance today and a settlement was reached. An hour after everyone else in the office went home, but it was reached and frankly, that's all that matters to me.

And then I got snowed on on my way home.

Two updates in one day! OMG! Maybe I'll even finish writing something later and make it three.

Yuletide nominations start today, and even though I was going to sit on it a little since we have until October 31 to get nominations in, I looked at my 'yuletide_requests_2008' document that I've been keeping since the last Yuletide ended and I realised that I was pretty much ready to do it now. I've participated in every single Yuletide challenge and I ♥ it mightily.
