Clerk: Oh, are you American?
Me: No, I just like to observe any holiday that involves pie.
Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends. Somehow, even before I was on the Internet, I always seemed to have a lot of you, and I'm thankful for you all.
Also, my grocery store now sells half pumpkin pies. Rock! Maybe they've finally clued in that they're surrounded by blocks and blocks of apartment buildings, and a lot of us live alone and have very little use for an entire pie. Well, okay, actually, I could probably use an entire pie, but it's best I don't. :)
Off to write. And cook. And write some more.
*No, I'm not going to cook a turkey for myself. Just no.
